Other images courtesy of the Carrollton, MO Facebook page.  Part 3 - Richmond, MO to Carrollton, MO From Richmond, MO to Carrollton, MO, the route roughly follows MO 10, with some exceptions. The route leaves Richmond, MO on E. Main St. (BUS 10) & then follows Coo Ln (Briefly), Old 10 Hwy, MO 10, Field Road, Old 10 Hwy (Again), MO 10 (Again), before entering Hardin, MO on NW 5th St. When entering Hardin, MO, the autotrail heads South on NW 5th St, before heading East on Mansur St. After following Mansur St, East 4 blocks, the trail turned South on Morton St, 1 block & then East 1 block on Parkway St, for 1 block, to NE 1st St (MO J), turning 2 blocks South to E Elm St, cro

Satellite images courtesy of Google Maps.  Part 2 - Excelsior Springs, MO to Richmond, MO Between Excelsior Springs, MO & Richmond, MO, the route roughly follows MO 10. From Excelsior Springs, MO, the autotrail heads East on E. Broadway Ave, Saratoga St & Isley Blvd. East of here, the road follows the predecessor to MO 10, which was an old stage route on it's way to Richmond, MO, which can be seen in the following pictures. A section of this road was obliterated by the Excelsior Springs Memorial Airport. More coming soon in part 3.

The North Missouri Cross State Highway Missouri's forgotten early 20th century autotrail. By Route66Fan This autotrail was considered to be a Northern alternate routing to the National Old Trails Road in Missouri , between Kansas City, MO & St. Louis, MO. Information is from Volume 5 of the 1918 Official Automobile Blue Book (Unless where noted.). Satellite images courtesy of Google Maps.   Part 1 - Kansas City, MO to Excelsior Springs, MO This 31mi section also follows a portion of the Jefferson Highway. The autotrail starts, or ends, in Kansas City, MO at East 12th St. & Grand Ave & heads North on Grand Ave & enters the River Market district. At that point, the autotrail turns East on East 3rd Street & crossed the Missouri River on the upper deck of the ASB bridge (Toll 10 cents.) on North Oak Trafficway (MO 9). In 1987, the Heart of America bridge opened downstream & the upper deck on the ASB bridge was dismantled. Wikipedia article about the ASB Bridg
